RADIOLEX is Lexington’s community radio. Community radio is created by and for people who live and work here.
RADIOLEX broadcasts on public airwaves 24/7 in English on WLXU 93.9 FM and in Spanish on WLXL95.7 FM.
RADIOLEX is a go-to information resource for thousands of listeners in Lexington’s underrepresented neighborhoods—especially our Black, Hispanic, Asian, Immigrant & Refugee, and LGBTQ+ communities– as well as others whose experiences and concerns are not represented in mainstream news media.
RADIOLEX also plays a critical public safety role by providing real-time, community-level information during the COVID-19 pandemic, severe weather, disasters, and other local emergencies.
